For dealers
Sell your vehicles through Mobility1
Registered Dutch dealers list their vehicles on Mobility1 for free: cars, vans, campers, motorbikes, scooters and trailers with a Dutch plate. You stay the seller and set the asking price. Mobility1 inspects the vehicle at your yard, puts it online at your asking price, where anyone can see it and checked business buyers can reserve it, and, where offers are open, answers their offers for you. Commission is due only when a vehicle sells: the buyer pays you the whole price, and Mobility1 invoices its commission after the sale.
- Free to listno listing fee: commission only when a vehicle sells
- 2.5% commissionof the final price, at least €300 and at most €3,000, plus 21% VAT
- 7–30 dayswith Mobility1 only, for the days you choose
- Paid straight to youthe buyer, or the buyer's lender, pays the whole price into your own business account; Mobility1 never holds it
Why list with Mobility1
Checked buyers. Every buyer is a registered business: it sends one cent from its own business account, and we compare the account's name with the KvK register before its first offer or reservation. Other dealers can buy here too.
Your vehicle, shown properly. Buyers see our inspector's report, the grade and the photos before they reserve or make an offer.
Offers answered for you. Where offers are open, your lowest price stays private: we answer offers as your agent within 24 hours, and never accept or counter below your lowest price.
Your sales in one place. My desk shows your vehicles, and each sale with the buyer's contact and what is still to do.
Buy for your yard too
Dealers buy on Mobility1 as well. When you apply, you also accept the buyer terms, for the vehicles your company buys here, and once two people at Mobility1 have approved your application, your account can buy too. Reserving opens once payments are live.
- Inspected stock from other dealers. Every vehicle comes with our inspector's report, the grade and the photos, and has one asking price, shown to every buyer. Offers are private.
- Never your own vehicles. A dealer never buys its own vehicles: it cannot make an offer on them or reserve them.
How it works
Apply. Send your company details with a KvK extract, not older than 3 months. Two different people at Mobility1 check your application against the business register and your VAT ID, and we e-mail you when you can sell.
Give your payout account. The IBAN of a business bank account in your company's name, never a personal account. Our staff check it against the bank statement or letter you upload, then Mobility1's owner switches it on: two different people. A changed account is checked again from the start.
List a vehicle. Enter its plate and the vehicle as it is, your asking price, your lowest price, how many days it is with Mobility1 only (7 to 30), and a day for the inspection. We check the plate in the RDW's register. For now we list vehicles first registered in 2016 or later.
Inspection at your yard. Our inspector checks the documents, the bodywork, the tyres and the mechanics, takes a test drive (at least 10 km in a car, 5 on two wheels) and takes the photos. A failed document keeps the vehicle off the site.
The owner's yes. Our team checks the report and the photos, and Mobility1's owner gives the final yes. The vehicle then goes online at your asking price, shown to every buyer.
Offers answered for you. Where offers are open, Mobility1 answers each offer for you, one at a time and within 24 hours: we accept an offer at or above your lowest price, decline it, or make one counter-offer that is never below it. You do not see offers.
Reserved. A buyer reserves at the asking price or at an accepted offer. We e-mail you the price, and My desk shows the buyer's contact.
Paid and handed over. The buyer pays you the whole price, straight into your checked account, from their own money or through a lender. Once it is in, confirm it in My desk; then hand over the vehicle, transfer it to the buyer at the RDW, in your RDW system or at a post office, and enter the transfer reference in My desk.
What it costs
Listing is free. When a vehicle sells, Mobility1's commission is 2.5% of the final price, at least €300 and at most €3,000, plus 21% VAT. For a vehicle sold with VAT, the commission is worked out on the price including its VAT. The buyer pays you the whole price; once the sale is done, Abitech Worldwide Management Holding B.V. (Mobility1) invoices you the commission, payable within 14 days.
Example: a vehicle sold at €24,500.
- The buyer, or the buyer's lender, pays you
- €24,500
- Commission, 2.5% of the price
- €612.50
- Plus VAT, 21% of the commission
- €128.63
- Our invoice to you, after the sale
- €741.13
Up to a price of €12,000 the commission is the minimum of €300; from €120,000 it is the maximum of €3,000.
What you need
- An extract from the KvK business register, not older than 3 months, and, if you have it, the Belastingdienst's letter with your VAT ID: PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB each. We never ask for a copy of anyone's ID.
- Your KvK number, the company's VAT ID, a director or contact person, your town, a phone number and an e-mail address.
- A business bank account (IBAN) in the company's name, and a bank statement or letter for our check.
- The vehicle at your yard on the inspection day, with a valid APK where it needs one, and its registration card and code at hand: our inspector sees that you have the code, and never writes it down. Any finance or lease on the vehicle must be paid off first.
What you agree to
- For the days you choose, 7 to 30, you do not sell the vehicle elsewhere.
- The asking price does not change while an offer is open. A new price goes to Mobility1 for review first.
- You never ask buyers to compete for a vehicle, on or off the site.
- You confirm in My desk as soon as the whole price is in, and hand over the vehicle only then.
- You pay our commission invoice within 14 days.
The full text is in the dealer terms, which you accept when you apply and for every vehicle you list.
